Elana Shaw

Elana Shaw (she/her) brings with her a lifetime of experience working in the Jewish community. She holds a master’s degree in Jewish Communal Service from the Hornstein program at Brandeis University. Elana spent twenty years working in synagogue administration before starting at JPro in 2023 and joining the Leading Edge team as Executive Assistant in 2025. She is proudly attentive to every detail, and eagerly supports her colleagues in their innovative endeavors.  

Elana lives in Ithaca, NY with her husband Brian, and two teenage daughters who are competitive dancers. She enjoys hiking the gorges of Ithaca, as well as seeking out local spots to enjoy live music.
