Your Resources

Below is the complete list of the resources that will help support you throughout your survey journey. These resources include guides, templates, and answers to frequently asked questions for all phases of the survey process.

Your Journey

Participation in the Employee Experience Survey includes the following steps:

1. Register your organization by submitting your registration form & HRIS

Read the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and fill out the registration form linked at the bottom of the page between February 25 - April 4. In it, you’ll share information about your organization and upload your HRIS (excel file). You’ll also provide the contact information of who should receive access to your organization’s data after the survey closes, as well as the contact information of your Survey Liaison.

Here are a few helpful tips you can refer to while filling out your HRIS, and here is a guide to filling out the HRIS column by column.

Note: The Survey Liaison is the one person your organization will designate to serve as the only contact for Leading Edge throughout the survey process. This person is responsible for completing the tasks listed above and is often someone whose role includes HR functions. To help us streamline communications, we can only accommodate one liaison per organization.

2. Participate in our Survey Education Series

Leading Edge will be hosting multiple workshops to help support organizations throughout the survey cycle. We recommend attending as many as you need to live, or reviewing the recordings once available.

The schedule, registration links, and recordings can be found here.

3. Share details about the survey with your staff

Once registered, tell your staff about the survey so they know what to expect and understand why your organization has chosen to participate. Communicate the dates, encourage participation, and share your intention to use their feedback to improve your workplace culture.

Feel free to customize any of these email templates to send to your team to inform them about the upcoming survey.

4. Stay up-to-date with Leading Edge Survey Bites

Throughout the survey process, Survey Liaisons from registered organizations will receive weekly emails of important, bite-sized information regarding the survey. Each email will be archived here

5. Confirm your list of report viewers

CEOs or the top-most professional leader will automatically receive access to survey results. On the registration form, you can add up to 5 additional report viewers, such as the Survey Liaison and/or other staff members who may be responsible for viewing and taking action based on the survey results.

Before the results are released, Leading Edge will ask the CEO to confirm the list of report viewers that was submitted on the registration form. Once the results are released, additional report viewers can only be added at the written request or confirmation of the CEO.

6. View your data

Report viewers from organizations who’ve met the participation threshold outlined in the MOU will gain access to their results via the Culture Amp platform on June 10.

Everyone confirmed by the CEO from step 5 will receive an email inviting them to view their organization’s report in Culture Amp. Returning users will automatically be taken to the report, while new users will first need to create an account before viewing the data. Anyone who may need to change or reset their Culture Amp password can do so here.

Note: CEOs of organizations who have not met the participation threshold will be notified via email before the results are released on June 10.

7. Prepare for and participate in post-survey support and offerings

All participating organizations will be able to take advantage of the following post-survey offerings to help them understand trends from the survey cycle and plan to take action on their data:

  • Action Inspirations based on themes that emerge from the survey
  • Templates and resources to customize and send to your team
  • An invitation to join our final survey education series workshop on July 10 to learn more about the aggregate trends and insights from this survey cycle

Organizations who meet the participation threshold will also have access to:

  • An invitation to join our survey education series workshop on June 12 to learn more about next steps in taking action after the survey
  • One pro-bono consultation with a Leading Edge or national partner consultant that must be used between June 10 - August 29. We recommend holding calendar time in advance for any staff member who should be part of the consultation to expedite scheduling and ensure you can take advantage of this opportunity.
  • An opportunity to apply for one of two facilitated peer learning groups based on evergreen survey topics around areas our data has shown need attention and action to improve workplace culture and employee engagement.  More information about application criteria, timeline, and content will be shared with survey participating organizations after registration closes. Applications will open once the survey is complete.

Note: Organizations who do not meet the participation threshold will not have access to these additional post-survey support offerings.
